Michigan Competitive Fuels Act
The Michigan Competitive Fuels Act supports a diversified transportation fuels market. The policy sets a goal for the average carbon intensity of transportation fuels, which gets more aspirational over time, rewarding the fuel providers with the most innovative, least carbon-intensive options. The result is a dependable market for cleaner fuels, reliable clean transportation jobs, and lower fuel costs.
The Competitive Fuels Act Will:
1
Create good-paying jobs and direct investment in Michigan
2
Secure Michigan's continued leadership in automotive technology
